University City
The neighborhood of Walnut Hill is within the larger area of University City District. University City was Philadelphia’s first suburbs and it remains a distinctive, livable urban area of wide porches, trees, restaurants, cafes and shops. Although the six colleges and universities located here earned the area the “University City” name, just like all cities, University City hums 365 days of the year.
